MOSCOW, March 29 Electricity supply in Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, after the Ukrainian shelling on Wednesday morning, was stopped only in certain parts of the city, the emergency services specified.
As Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, told the agency earlier, Melitopol was «accidentally de-energized after shelling» from the HIMARS MLRS, restoration work is underway.
“Some media outlets are spreading information that Melitopol has been de-energized after the morning shelling by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is not true. The power supply has been cut off in some parts of the city,” the emergency services said.
According to them, the objects of the power supply system are damaged, restoration work is underway.
