In Moscow, 20-year-old blogger Stanislav Bazarov, known under the pseudonym Stasik Kudryavy, was detained, who urinated on the icon and filmed it on video. Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the Safe Internet League, announced his detention.
In his Telegram channel, Bazarov confirmed that he was detained by FSB officers. Later, the same was told in the press service of the Moscow department of the UK. The day before, the blogger tried to fly away from Russia, but he was removed from the flight and taken to the police department. A criminal case has been initiated on insulting the feelings of believers and making pornographic materials (part 1 of article 148 and part 3 of article 343 of the Criminal Code), the status of Bazarov is unknown.
A few days ago, Bazarov published a video in which he urinates on the icon of the Mother of God and asks to «forgive him for his sins.» Mizulina said on March 28: “Many today sent a disgusting video of this drug addict. We sent it to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for study. <…> I would like to note that the young man had previously come to our attention due to the advertising of shops selling narcotic substances.”
According to the investigation, the young man filmed a video in an apartment in Zelenograd, “pursuing the goal of outrage against the revered believers a religious shrine — an Orthodox icon, being half-naked.»
Later, the head of the Safe Internet League wrote that Bazarov «needs help and rehabilitation as a drug addict», that he «has been engaged in prostitution almost from a minor , and his mother is aware of and approves of this activity, «as well as» communicates with other «bloggers» who use drugs and do the same.» Mizulina expressed the opinion that the blogger should also be prosecuted under the article on the involvement of minors in illegal acts in the commission of antisocial acts (Article 157 of the Criminal Code).
