MOSCOW, March 30 The increased threshold for duty-free import of goods into the EAEU for individuals has been extended for six months, according to the telegram channel of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) .
It is clarified that we are talking about goods worth up to 1000 euros and weighing up to 31 kilograms, which are delivered by a carrier or postal items, carried on foot or brought in by luggage by all means of transport, except for air. If the price of goods is higher than the established amount or the cargo is heavier than 31 kilograms, the duty will be 15 percent of the value, but not less than two euros for each kilogram of excess.
As emphasized by the EEC, earlier the threshold was 200 euros for goods , carried by a carrier or in postal items, and 500 euros for goods brought in by luggage by all means of transport, except for air, or on foot.

He stressed that, together with partners in the EAEU, Moscow is creating criteria that will be taken into account when further studying the need for a duty-free threshold, taking into account the interests of manufacturers.
