MOSCOW, 3 Apr. The action movie «John Wick 4» topped the box office in Russia and the CIS with fees of more than 191 million rubles over the past weekend, according to unofficial and preliminary data, the portal kinobusiness.com reported.
According to the plot of the picture, John Wick finds a way to defeat the Board of Clans, but before he earns his long-awaited freedom, Wick must face a new enemy and his powerful associates who can turn even old friends into traitors.
The second line was taken by the cartoon Cats of the Hermitage, which collected 68.5 million rubles. A young cat named Vincent, in the company of Maurice the mouse, escapes the flood in an old harpsichord, which is picked up by sailors and sent to St. Petersburg, where it ends up in the Hermitage. There, Vincent meets an elite feline squad that has been protecting artwork from mice and other pests for centuries. She takes out a dusty bicycle, puts Kapa's dachshund in the trailer and goes to Magadan to make peace with her mother. The cartoon «The Adventures of the Argonauts» closes the rating, having collected 34.2 million rubles. Brave mouse Patty lives in the heart of ancient Greece, where everything is possible. Admiring local heroes and heavenly gods, she desperately dreams of a great adventure. However, her best friend, the big and very anxious cat Sam, goes out of his way to protect her from any danger.
