In a neighboring country, a refreshed cross is presented with the same “aspirated” 2.0. The model is currently available in two trim levels, later the range will be expanded.
Kia premieres for the Russian market have been canceled after the start of well-known events. But in Kazakhstan, brand new products continue to appear with enviable regularity: sales of the restyled Kia Soul SUV and the Kia EV6 electric car have recently started there, and now the updated Kia Seltos crossover has been offered to local customers.
Recall that the upgraded Seltos debuted last year in Korea. The crossover received a new bumper and grille, and taillights became different. The headlights have the same shape, but the filling has been replaced, in addition, diode strokes of navigation lights have appeared, which are visually combined with the same luminous stripes on the grille. Cross also gets new rims (from 16 to 18 inches).
Inside, there is a new front panel and a climate control control unit (it is devoid of a “twist” responsible for adjusting the temperature), a scoreboard has also appeared, that is, a tidy and a touchscreen of a multimedia system placed in a single housing (in expensive versions — each with a diagonal of 10.25 inches). At the same time, the Kazakh SUV retained the usual gear lever, while, for example, in Korea, which is native to the brand, it acquired a puck. hp, 179 Nm), which is combined with an IVT variator. Front wheel drive or all wheel drive.

At the moment, the model is available in two fairly simple trim levels — Comfort and Luxe. The arsenal of the cheapest Seltos includes: fabric upholstery, heated windshield washer nozzles, heated front seats, an 8-inch multimedia system, a 4.2-inch color display in the tidy, a pair of airbags, air conditioning and a rear-view camera. Kia Seltos Luxe has climate control, this version also got a heated steering wheel and rear seats, a keyless entry system and an engine start button, side airbags and curtain airbags, and cruise control. Later, three more versions will go on sale — apparently with an expanded list of equipment.
Basic updated Seltos costs 11,990,000 tenge, which is equivalent to about 2,070,000 rubles at the current exchange rate. A front-wheel drive crossover in the Luxe configuration will cost 12,890,000 tenge, an all-wheel drive one costs 13,590,000 tenge, which is about 2,225,000 and 2,346,000 rubles, respectively. For comparison, in Russia, a pre-reform SUV with a similar two-liter engine and a CVT costs from 2,254,900 rubles. We also have Seltos with an “aspirated” 1.6 MPI (123 or 121 hp, “mechanics” or “automatic”; from 1,959,900 rubles) and a “turbo four” 1.6 T-GDI (177 hp, 7DCT ; from 2,694,900 rubles). However, cars are more expensive at dealers, and there are almost no official Seltos left, judging by the websites of car dealerships.
