MOSCOW, 2 Apr. US intervention in the conflict in Ukraine has led to irreparable consequences for this country, said Republican Congressman Paul Gosar. He is quoted by the Iowa Standard portal.

“The American involvement in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has become an epic disaster. <…> Every day without peace is another day that jeopardizes the fragile security that the world has enjoyed for decades without being exposed to the devastating effects of nuclear weapons,” he said.
According to Gosar, the US itself is already are falling apart due to poor funding: the country's infrastructure is faulty, the railway tracks are in a deplorable state and require immediate reconstruction. American cities are suffering from rampant crime and homelessness, and the opioid epidemic is destroying families and communities, the congressman warned. The politician called on the country's leadership to focus resources on solving internal problems, and not on supporting the Kiev regime.
Gosar also sent a letter to the chairman of the US House Appropriations Committee, Kay Granger, with a request not to allocate a single cent more for weapons for Ukraine.
