A new order has been established
Russia does not abandon its own. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution according to which our fellow citizens permanently residing abroad can receive insurance pensions. But they will be charged in rubles and only in banks in our country.
The document notes that pensions established in accordance with Russian legislation and international agreements can be paid in rubles «by crediting to bank accounts in a credit institution located in the Russian Federation.»
To do this, it is necessary to submit an application in writing or electronically to the body making such payments and indicate in it the details of an open current account. Until such an application is received, the payment of pensions is suspended.
According to the Social Fund of Russia, the payment of pensions is carried out to more than 330 thousand Russian citizens living in 132 countries of the world. Almost all geography. Before the introduction of «nuclear sanctions» against Moscow by the West, pensions (in rubles) were transferred without problems to banks in other countries and there were no difficulties.
But now many credit organizations have frozen their partnership with Russian structures, for this reason a new order has been established. Which, most likely, will complicate the life of a Russian veteran in a foreign land to a certain extent.
— Actually, he has two options left, says financial analyst, candidate of economic sciences Mikhail Belyaev. — He can periodically come to Russia, let's say once a year and withdraw the transferred money from his account. Or write a power of attorney so that these operations are carried out by some of his relatives or friends living in our country.
— These are already his problems. The business of our state is to accrue a pension to him and transfer it to the account, we fulfill our obligations. And how he will continue to be with the rubles is his concern. Previously, it was possible to transfer to an international Visa card, but Russian banks do not work with it now. Most likely, you will have to take it out of Russia in cash. No more than 10 thousand dollars are allowed in the currency.
