TFR: Remains of girls who disappeared 22 years ago were found in the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia, in a publication on its official Telegram channel, announced on Tuesday that that in the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the remains of girls who disappeared 22 years ago were found in the ground at a depth of 5.5 meters.
The publication of the Main Investigative Committee of the RF Investigative Committee for the region says that on the territory of the garage massif of the city of Kodinsk in a pit at a depth 5.5 meters, the bones of two girls were found, as well as their personal belongings, including watches, two sets of shoes and clothing. It is noted that the search was carried out for nine days using special equipment on a plot of 900 square meters.
The TFR clarified that five holes were dug in total, and due to the fact that the remains had been in the ground for a long time, they were very difficult to detect, but the task was completed. Law enforcement officers were able to start searching after the arrest of the accused of the crime, who confessed to his deed, at the end of March of this year.
