Americans must cease all official contact with Taiwan and the island's ruling Democratic Progressive Party, the Chinese Defense Ministry said in a release.
The Defense Department document states that China strongly protests against any official contact between the US and Taiwan.
It also protests the infiltration of Taiwanese leaders into the States under any pretext and for any reason.
< p>«Strongly oppose US violations of the One China Principle and the provisions of the three Sino-US joint communiques, as well as any of their contacts with the Democratic Progressive Party,» the Chinese military concluded.
