The Ulyanovsk garrison military court sentenced mobilized Igor Malyasov from Chuvashia to six years and six months in a strict regime colony. This was reported by the main military department of the Investigative Committee.
Malyasov from the village of Semenovskoye, who served on conscription in 2016, was mobilized in October 2022. During the investigation, Malyasov was seconded to the unit. On January 4, he fled home from there. He was detained a week later, on January 12 (Part 2.1 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code).
Shortly after the arrest, the criminal case of the mobilized man about a fight with the commander went to court, and already on February 1 he was sentenced to six years in a strict regime. Court hearings were held in the unit in the presence of colleagues.
On March 31, another judge ruled in the case of the escape and extended Malyasov's term. Both verdicts were appealed to the Central District Military Court, the decisions on them were not published.
