MOSCOW , Apr 12 Streaming platform HBO Max on Wednesday released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter series.
The video, less than a minute long, appeared on the YouTube channel, as well as on the HBO Max Twitter account.
«Max has commissioned the first-ever Harry Potter television series, a faithful adaptation of the iconic books,» the service said in a statement.
Earlier, the Bloomberg agency reported, citing sources, that the series is planned to have seven seasons according to the number of books in the Rowling saga.
A series of eight films «Harry Potter» filmed by Warner Bros based on the books of the English writer JK Rowling. The first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, hit theaters on November 16, 2001. The final film «Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2» was released in 2011, after which three more Fantastic Beasts films about the events that preceded the main saga, written by Rowling, were released.
