MOSCOW, April 14 The Ministry of Economic Development predicts the average annual unemployment in Russia in 2023-2026 at the level of 3.5%, the chairman of the ministry told reporters.
«We believe that it (unemployment — ed.) will remain at the level of 3.5% over the entire forecast horizon. This factor will stimulate income growth due to the fact that there is an increased demand for workers, which will lead to an increase in wages fees,» a spokesman for the ministry said.
He noted that the ministry sees local problems in the labor market in certain industries.
«Increased demand for workers persists amid restrictions on the supply side. The specialized federal authorities are taking appropriate measures,» he explained.
