MOSCOW, 13 Feb. The Cannes Film Festival has announced the participants of the main competition. The list is presented on the site of the review.
Jessica Hausner's Club Zero, Jonathan Glazer's Zone of Interest, Aki Kaurismäki's Dead Leaves, Ben Chania's Four Daughters, Wes Anderson's Asteroid City, Justine's Fall Trajectory Trie, «The Beast» by Hirokazu Kore-eda, «Light of the Future» by Nanni Moretti, «Last Summer» by Catherine Breilly.
Also in the main competition are the projects «About Dry Grass» by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, «Chimera» by Alice Rohrwacher, «Doden Buffan's Stew» by Chan An Hung, «Rapito» by Marco Bellocchio, «May, December» by Todd Haynes, «Youth Wang Bean.
In addition, Ken Loach's «Old Oak», Ramat-Tulai Sy's «Adam's Rib», Wim Wenders' «Perfect Days» and Karim's «Instigator» are among the contenders for the «Palm Branch» Ainuza.
This year the Cannes Film Festival will be held from 16 to 27 May. Earlier it was reported that the show will open the film with Johnny Depp as the king.
