Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko announced in his Telegram channel that in the zone of the special military operation former people's deputy Oleg Barna died.
According to Gerashchenko, Barna died on April 17 — on the eve of his 56th birthday.
He did not give details. At the same time, Gerashchenko referred to the information of the speaker of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces Aleksey Dmitrashkovsky.
Recall that Oleg Barna was elected in 2014 to the Verkhovna Rada from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc. Several scandals are associated with it. In January 2015, he allowed obscene language against Russian President Vladimir Putin from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
In December of the same year, he staged a scuffle within the walls of the Rada with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who spoke with a report. Barna grabbed Yatsenyuk and tried to carry him out of the Rada building. For this, he was expelled from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, but was soon returned.
