MOSCOW, April 24 The forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development for inflation in Russia this year at 5.3% is weighted, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrey Belousov told reporters .
In April, the Ministry of Economic Development improved the forecast for inflation in 2023 from 5.5% to 5.3%. At the same time, the Bank of Russia forecasts inflation this year in the range of 5-7%.
«A balanced, enough estimate,» Belousov said, answering a question about the government's estimate of inflation at 5.3% and the difference with the Central Bank's estimate.
He also pointed out that pro-inflationary risks exist. «But so far they have not been implemented, and there are no signs that they are being implemented yet on the market,» the First Deputy Prime Minister added.
