MOSCOW, April 25 A grenade-like object seized from a man at the entrance to the northern lobby of the Lermontovsky Prospekt metro station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line in Moscow , does not pose a danger, said the press service of the capital's head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, the telegram channel of the Moscow Department of Transport reported that the northern lobby (exits 5-6) at the Lermontovsky Prospekt station was temporarily closed to the entrance at the request of the police. According to the head office, transport security officers stopped a passenger who had «an object similar to a hand grenade.»

An informed source clarified to the agency that the seized item turned out to be a dummy grenade.
The deptrans added that the northern lobby of Lermontovsky Prospekt (exits 5-6, 8) is open to passengers, the station is operating normally.
