MOSCOW, April 27 Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with representatives of organizations in the field of unmanned aerial systems, called for supporting effective domestic developments in unmanned aerial vehicles, as this will allow ensure sovereignty.
One of the meeting participants said that at the end of 2022, testing of the Russian communication protocol was completed, which works better than TCP/IP, and asked to support domestic development in order to stop depending on American technologies.
«Maxim Stanislavovich (Oreshkin, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation — ed.), talk to your colleagues, then report all this to me separately, you need to help is a must. If you really have more advanced proposals, your own, then, of course, you need to do everything to support them. Well, how about it! This is technological sovereignty, competitiveness and independence,» Putin said.
The President added that he was asking Oreshkin to work with the authors of the national developments in order to decide together «what specific steps need to be taken.»
«We will definitely help,» Putin assured.
