Yulian Boyarshinov, a defendant in the Penza case, left Russia with his wife, journalist Yana Sakhipova. Sakhipova reported this to Mediazona.
The journalist said that they left for Barcelona for security reasons.
A week ago, on April 21, Boyarshinov was released from colony No. 7 in Segezha, Karelia, after five years and three months in prison. He was accused of participating in a «terrorist community "Network"» (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code).
The young man was detained in St. Petersburg and sent in jail in January 2018. After a year and a half of detention, he was sentenced to five and a half years in prison. A year later, Boyarshinov's sentence was reduced by three months.
