The magistrate of court district No. 48 of Yakutsk fined 22-year-old Mikhail Ivanov 100 thousand rubles under the protocol on “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations” (part 3 of article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of the broadcast on Instagram. This was announced by activist Aikhal Ammosov.

According to the court order, on February 16, Ivanov «propaganda» such relations on the Internet. As the young man himself explained, he was streaming on a social network, and when he was asked about his orientation, he “told everything honestly.” A resident of Yakutia pleaded guilty.

Earlier, under a similar article, Jan Dvorkin, the head of the Center T initiative group for helping transgender and non-binary people, was fined 100,000 rubles. In court, he said that sexual orientation and gender identity are innate human characteristics that cannot be changed.
