MOSCOW, May 17. Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the governors of the fire-affected regions in additional assistance to fire victims .
“As for helping people, this goes without saying, here are the proposals that were made by the minister, and the requests set out by the governors, must be taken into account when making operational decisions right now,” Putin said at a meeting with members of the Russian government.
Natural fires have recently occurred in the Kurgan and Sverdlovsk regions.
As stated by the management of the UK in the Kurgan region, as a result of large-scale fires that occurred on May 7 in the Kurgan region, at least three people died, significant material damage was caused to citizens and economic entities.
