MINSK, May 17. Belarus has increased the supply of military equipment to Russia against the backdrop of the NMD, Dmitry, the chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, told reporters on Wednesday during the MILEX-2023 arms exhibition Pantus.
At the last MILEX exhibition in 2021, Pantus stated that Minsk at that time annually supplied Moscow with military products worth 250-300 million dollars.
«Of course, the volumes of deliveries (military products) produced by the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation have increased, I must speak frankly. I will not comment on the figures, but the volumes of deliveries have increased,» he said.
The Chairman of the State Committee for Military Industry noted that the Belarusian defense industry complex «clearly and instantly» responds to any requests from the RF Armed Forces. «We are always ready to supply any type of weapons that will interest our brothers,» Pantus stressed. Answering a clarifying question from journalists whether the increase in military supplies from Belarus to the Russian Federation is connected with a special military operation, he answered: «Most likely, yes, of course.»
