MOSCOW, May 17. A new art space «Arts Council» has opened at the Theater on Bronnaya. Everyone will be able to learn more about the iconic cultural place of Moscow and its performances, said artistic director Konstantin Bogomolov.
«
"The theater intends to allow the viewer backstage, the process of preparing for the performance. And not only relevant. We have a large number of unpublished transcripts, records of artistic councils, discussions — the holy of holies of the theater. We understand that if we just publish them, then the audience is unlikely to read them. Now the world exists in the reality of audiovisual content, so we voiced the recordings with the voices of our artists,» Bogomolov noted.
This will be a series of videos: every two weeks they plan to add another entry to the system, both and about new ones. The materials that tell about modern performances are real recordings of discussions, in which Bogomolov also participates.

The artists recreated the office of the theater's artistic council with a traditional meeting table, where the details of future productions were discussed. At the same time, the «Artistic Council» has multimedia screens and headphones: thanks to this, you can listen, watch and read how performances are created.
“The table is real: several artistic directors of the theater were sitting at it. The chair is also real — exactly 40-50s. We tried to reproduce something similar to the office of the artistic council «, but the chairs are already replicas. The theater has a unique museum with a no less unique keeper, who, during the previous renovation, literally found some Soviet posters in the trash and saved them. We decided not to restore them, but put them in frames under glass. Therefore, you can see them in its original form,» said theater designer Larisa Lomakina.
In addition, there are historical notes, letters, notes and even denunciations at the artistic director's table. .
