KAZAN, May 19. Russia's GDP growth in 2023 may reach 2%, which corresponds to the upper limit of the Central Bank's forecast, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov said at a press conference as part of the International Economic Forum «Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum».
«»You know, they can be achieved,» he answered the question whether GDP growth in 2023 could reach the upper limit of the Central Bank's forecast of 0.5-2 %.
«The first quarter showed that risks have been reduced, probably at the most key moment. We have begun to revive consumer demand,» Belousov explained.
«We have every chance not just to enter the positive area growth, but somewhere to grow by 1-2%, in this sense, this is all quite achievable,» he added.
