MOSCOW, May 18. Jackie Chan is in talks to star in the Karate Kid sequel, Discussing Film reports citing its sources.
In the first film (2010), the movie star played Mr. Khan. His character appeared in the frame as a locksmith and kung fu master. Subsequently, he taught the martial art of the protagonist.
The painting was successful. It earned $359 million at the worldwide box office on a budget of $40 million.
Sequel directed and executive produced by Jonathan Entwhistle («Hello Future!», «I'm Not Okay With This!»).
