MOSCOW, May 19. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the sovereignty of the Russian Federation depends on its self-sufficiency, which should be in everything — in politics, the economy, the sphere of defense and security.
«Self-sufficiency is an absolutely necessary condition for independence and sovereignty, this self-sufficiency should be in everything: in politics and, above all, in this case, in national politics, in the economy, in the field of defense security. Today we are engaged in one of the key issues — issues of national policy,» Putin said at a meeting of the Council for Interethnic Relations.
