MOSCOW, May 20. The average size of a car loan in Russia grew in April by 7.1% in annual terms and reached a record 1.3 million rubles , calculated for the «Scoring Bureau».
According to the company's data, during the year the number of car loans issued jumped 3.7 times — up to 68.9 thousand loans, and their amount — four times, up to 90.4 billion rubles.
As a result, the portfolio of loans for the purchase of cars in April grew by 7.1% in annual terms — to the maximum in the history of 1.25 trillion rubles. At the same time, the number of active car loans from Russians almost did not change over the year, remaining at the level of 1.76 million loans.
At the same time, the number of overdue loans over 90 days increased by 5.5% over the year — up to 110.1 thousand loans, and their volume — by 16.7%, to a record 68.3 billion rubles .
