The Raduzhninsky City Court of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug sentenced local resident Ivan Chistyakov, who stabbed two acquaintances several times during a feast, to 2 years and 4 months in a penal colony. This was reported by the press service of the court.
Judge Natalya Studenikina found Chistyakov guilty under articles on intentional infliction of grievous and minor bodily harm (point «h» of part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code and point «c» of part 2 of article 115 ).
She considered a mitigating circumstance that the victims during the quarrel «publicly discredited» the Russian army in the presence of Chistyakov and «another witness.»
According to investigators, a group of men were drinking in the kitchen, they started arguing «about conducting a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, during the conversation, some men began to speak rudely about the Russian-speaking population and the conduct of a special military operation.» As a result, Chistyakov took a knife from the table, hit “citizen S.” three times with it. in the back of the head, and then delivered another blow to the left side of the lower back.
Then the attacker approached “citizen B. and deliberately inflicted at least five blows to him with the above-mentioned knife in the chest area on the left, left shoulder and left thigh.”
In addition to the “discrediting” of the army by Chistyakov’s acquaintances, Judge Studenikina considered mitigating circumstances that the defendant had a small child, a dependent minor child with a disability, an admission of guilt and “apologies to the victims, which they accepted and forgave the defendant.” Part of the article on inflicting grievous bodily harm, according to which a resident of the city of Raduzhny was tried, provides for up to 10 years in prison.
The press service noted that the guilt of both victims in «discrediting» the military is confirmed by the fines that they were given Raduzhninsky City Court on November 25 and 28, 2022 (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
According to one of the decisions, Sergei Sergeyev “publicly expressed his indignant opinion about the conduct of a special military operation in the Donbass, disagreement about the entry of the RF Armed Forces into the territory of Donbass, arguing that he would cut Russians on the territory of Ukraine and in the Donbass, saying that Russia had attacked Ukraine, bombing and killing civilians there, while shouting «Glory to Ukraine, Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!».
Sergeev was fined 30 thousand rubles. He pleaded not guilty and said that during the feast the conversation was really about the war, but he did not speak hostilely. “He received stab wounds from these witnesses, there is a criminal case. Please note that this is the first time, and this is no longer repeat,» the resolution says.< /p>
It is not known what fine the second victim, Vadim Bubnov, received, since the decision on his administrative case was not published on the court website.
