Reshuffle in the Kremlin: Putin appoints Maxim Travnikov as head of anti-corruption department
Vladimir Putin has appointed Maxim Travnikov as head of the Russian Presidential Department for Civil Service, Human Resources and Anti-Corruption, according to a presidential decree published on Tuesday at website of the Kremlin.
Prior to this appointment, Travnikov’s position was called “Head of the Russian Presidential Administration for Civil Service and Personnel.”
In 2012-2018, Travnikov was Deputy Minister of Justice.
The day before, the President of Russia appointed Sergei Butin as Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
