St. Petersburg, May 21. Russian actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator Oleg Vasilyuk has died at the age of 78, the Lenfilm film studio reports.
«Russian actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator Oleg Vasilyuk died at the age of 78… The Lenfilm studio mourns with his family and friends,» the statement says.
In 1969, Vasilyuk participated in the filming of «King Lear» by Grigory Kozintsev, and from that moment his filmography was replenished with dozens of films. He worked in such films as «Star of Captivating Happiness», «Truffaldino from Bergamo», «Poor, Poor Pavel», «Donkey Skin», «Treasure Island», «Royal Hunt» and others. He also worked in such series as «Streets of Broken Lights», «National Security Agent».
