
WARSAW, May 24 Poland is preparing for an armed coup in Belarus and participation in its support by military means, the former Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Republic, General Waldemar Skshipchak, said on the air of the Polsat TV channel.
Thus, he confirmed the words of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko about such plans of the West.

«We are preparing for an uprising in Belarus, because it will happen,» said Skshipchak.
He clarified that we are talking about a military operation. “We need to be ready to support the troops that will conduct an operation against Lukashenka,” the general said.
Earlier, Lukashenko said that the West was preparing to invade the territory of Belarus to destroy the country. According to him, «the formation of certain regiments, banners, legions is in full swing for the subsequent coup in Belarus.» The President noted that the West makes militants out of runaway Belarusians, because it is not a pity to use them. At the same time, terrorists are thrown into the territory of Belarus to carry out sabotage and acts of intimidation, they are trying to create cells for coordinating protest actions, they are transferring money and weapons.
According to Skshipchak, Belarusians, who are currently taking part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, can take part in the «uprising».

"They will go to Belarus. I hope that this will cause an uprising in Belarus, Lukashenka is afraid of this,» Skrzypchak said.
According to him, Poland is ready to help armed groups that can oppose the Belarusian authorities, as they are currently help the Ukrainian troops. “We need to be ready to support those troops who will conduct an operation against Lukashenka. We have reasons to help them, as we help Ukrainians,” the general said.
Also, in the event of an aggravation of the situation in Belarus, Skshipchak fears a large number of refugees heading to Poland. «If this uprising occurs, then, of course, there will be an exodus of Belarusians to Poland, and we must be prepared for this,» he said.
