
MOSCOW, May 24 Eurasian Economic Union ( EAEU) is pursuing an active policy of expanding friendly ties with other states that are today the drivers of the global economy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary meeting of the Eurasian Economic Forum on Wednesday in Moscow.
During his speech, Putin stated that the EAEU supports initiatives that are aimed at the development of all of Eurasia. In particular, the Union continues to work with China to interface the integration processes developing within the EAEU, according to the China-proposed One Belt, One Road initiative.
«The Eurasian Union is also pursuing an active policy of expanding friendly ties with other states located in the near abroad, in Asia, with India, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. With states that represent the absolute majority of the world's population, are today the drivers of global economic growth,» Putin added.
