MOSCOW, May 24. The Federation Council at a meeting in Wednesday decided to prematurely terminate the powers of the senator from the Krasnoyarsk Territory Valery Semyonov, the parliamentarian himself wrote a statement in connection with the transfer to another place of work.
The head of the procedural committee of the Federation Council, Vyacheslav Timchenko, said earlier that Semyonov received an offer to continue working as a vice-governor of his region.
Earlier, a source in the Federation Council said that the ex-governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss could come to the upper house of parliament before the end of the spring session.
