A court in Albania released blogger Lana Sator (Svetlana Timofeeva) from arrest on bail until the end of the investigation into the dissemination of secret military information and illegal possession of weapons. A friend of Timofeeva reported this to Mediazona. This is also covered by the local media.
Another person involved in the case, Fyodor Alpatov, a citizen of Ukraine, was released on bail not to leave, while photographer Mikhail Zorin was placed under house arrest.
Timofeeva, Zorin Alpatov was detained at an abandoned military factory in the city of Gramsci in August 2022. Then the court placed them in custody. All three face jail terms under 20. According to the police, Zorin entered the enterprise on the evening of August 20 and tried to photograph it. When spotted, he «sprayed two soldiers with a nerve spray.» Near the plant, the police stopped the Chevrolet car in which Timofeeva and Alpatov were.
Timofeeva is known under the pseudonym Lana Sator, she has an Instagram about abandoned buildings, bomb shelters and military facilities — more than 250 thousand people have subscribed to her. In Russia, since August 2022, the blocker has been arrested in absentia in a criminal case on illegally obtaining information constituting a state secret (paragraph «a» part 2 of article 283.1 of the Criminal Code).

In March of this year, Timofeeva asked for political asylum in Albania. She stressed that she faces political persecution in her homeland, as she criticized Putin's policies and the war in Ukraine. In April, a court in Albania decided not to extradite Timofeeva to Russia.
