MOSCOW, May 29. The head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, threatened Russia with a quick response to missile strikes.

On Monday, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces launched a missile attack on Ukrainian airfields at night. The Russian military managed to hit command posts, radar posts, aviation equipment, storage facilities with weapons and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since last autumn, the Russian army has been launching missile attacks on Ukrainian energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities. As Vladimir Putin stated, the first attack was a response to a terrorist attack organized by Kiev on the Crimean bridge. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced in the Ukrainian regions every day, sometimes throughout the country.
Tonight, the sounds of a siren sounded throughout Ukraine. Local media wrote about explosions in Kyiv, Poltava, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Odessa, Khmelnitsky and Lvov regions. Infrastructure facilities in Kiev were damaged, the regional department of the National Police said.
In early May, Budanov said in an interview with Yahoo News that the Ukrainian special services «have killed and will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until complete victory.» He then acknowledged Kyiv's involvement in the terrorist attacks against prominent Russians, saying that «many have already been fed up.» Russia circulated a letter to the UN Security Council about these hate speeches, but the leadership of the World Organization, in fact, did not react to it.
