MOSCOW, May 27 French director Justine Triet's film «Trajectory of the Fall» received the main prize of the 76th Cannes Film Festival — the Palme d'Or, says in the message of the festival on Twitter.
The second most important award — the Grand Prix — went to the film «Zone of Interest» by British director Jonathan Glaser. The famous American director and producer Quentin Tarantino presented him with a prize.
Japanese actor Koji Yakuse, who played in the film «Beautiful Days», received the prize for best male role. Turkish actress Merve Dizdar won the Best Actress award for her performance in «About the Dry Grass».
Chang Anh Hung, who directed the romantic drama «Doden Buffan's Stew», won the award for Best Direction.
