
MOSCOW, May 29 Vladimir Putin's telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan may take place in the near future, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the second round of Turkish presidential elections with a score of more than 52% of the vote, said the head of the Turkish High Electoral Commission Ahmet Yener . The final results of the elections will be published no earlier than June 1.
«No, at the moment there is no schedule yet, but I repeat once again, telephone conversations with the President of Turkey are coordinated as quickly as possible and, of course, we can say with a high degree of certainty that such a conversation will take place in the near future,» Peskov said.
Earlier, there were reports that Erdogan plans a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden on Monday, and also plans to talk with Putin.
