Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempted to break into the territory of the Belgorod region, writes the Russian Spring (RV) telegram channel.
According to war correspondents, they fell into a Russian ambush.
Military equipment participated in the attack from the Ukrainian side, including several armored vehicles and two tanks, front-line reporters shared details.
Some of them ran into land mines, and artillery fire was opened on others, noted in the publication. The enemy forces retreated.
