In Irkutsk, doctors saved a 4-year-old child who had been shot in the heart area. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ivano-Matreninsky Children's Hospital.
It is noted that the child was taken to the emergency room in serious condition late in the evening. The doctors examined the boy and realized that the bullet hit the right lung and got stuck in the heart area. Then the neurosurgeon on duty decided to perform an emergency operation.
The operation lasted a total of 4.5 hours. At the moment, the victim is on the mend, the doctors were able to remove the bullet and take in the damaged organs.
Law enforcement officers are sorting out the circumstances of the incident.
