BELGOROD, June 3 Three people were killed during yesterday’s shelling of the village of Sobolevka in the Valuysky urban district of the Belgorod region, Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.

"Two men died on the spot from their injuries, another woman <…> died in an ambulance,” the governor said.
He clarified that the deceased received a shrapnel penetrating wound to the anterior abdominal wall and chest.
In addition, seven people received injuries of varying severity. Six of them were taken to medical facilities, one refused hospitalization.
The head of the region also added that 18 arrivals from the Grad MLRS were recorded in the village.
The night before, immediately after attacks on Sobolevka, Gladkov reported that two people were killed and six more were injured. Among the injured are two children — a 13-year-old boy with a closed fracture of the left shoulder and an 11-year-old girl with shrapnel wounds to the left eye.
From February 24, 2022, the Belgorod region has been regularly shelled by Ukraine. A high (yellow) level of terrorist threat has been in effect throughout the region since April 11, 2022. Attacks by the Ukrainian military on the border districts of Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky are especially frequent.
