U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kahl said during a speech at the NATO Youth Summit that it is now difficult to say in what direction the «war» in Ukraine will develop.
«But in general, it is already clear that Russia lost in it,» Kal believes.
He explained that Russia was unable to gain control over the entire territory of Ukraine and was unable to weaken NATO.
It is curious that during the same speech, he stated that the allocation of multibillion-dollar military assistance to Ukraine «put pressure» on the US military-industrial complex.
Statement by a Pentagon representative about «losing » Russia sounded against the backdrop of an unsuccessful attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to launch an offensive in the Yuzhnodonets direction on June 4, as previously reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The Kremlin has previously stressed that Russia must complete the special military operation.
