According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), on June 5, during a successful special operation in Kremenchug, Poltava region, a gang of criminal authority was neutralized, known as «Moskva».
As specified, the criminals terrorized local residents and extorted money from entrepreneurs.
The SBU also reported that «Moskva» had previously been prosecuted for serious crimes and was under control in a penal colony.
Gang members showed particular cruelty, threatening to kill business owners and their families in case of refusal to pay the required amount.
Currently, operational-search measures to bring to justice all persons involved in the activities of the group.
