WASHINGTON, 5 Jun. Apple has introduced a fundamentally new product for itself — the augmented reality headset Vision Pro.

«Vision Pro is a new type of computer that augments reality by seamlessly blending the real world with the digital…Apple Vision Pro will change the way we communicate, interact and enjoy entertainment content,» said CEO Tim Cook.
Externally, the device looks like a massive diving mask with a cord on the side — probably for connecting an external battery that provides up to two hours of operation.
The company says that the aluminum case accommodates a variety of devices — high-performance computers, displays, cameras and sensors. A 3D interface has been developed for Vision Pro, which is controlled by the eyes, hands and voice. The headset can be synchronized with any other Apple technology.
Use Vision Pro is offered to watch movies, games, communications and work with all standard applications.
«It's like magic. Because you can see reality clearly while interacting with Vision Pro, you continue to be present (in the real world) and continue to interact with those around you,» the presentation said.
The manufacturer promises that in Vision Pro you can type text on a virtual keyboard, turn your head to use the Safari browser, turn in the other direction — and the user finds himself on a video call with his friends or colleagues. You can watch movies together, share photos, or work together on a presentation. Watching movies gives you a 4K screen experience in any room, including an airplane seat, and the built-in camera allows you to shoot in 3D, Apple claims.
