MOSCOW, 6 Jun. The winners of the seventh season of the literary award for young writers and poets «Lyceum» have been named, the press service of the project reports. The awards were presented at the Red Square book festival.
In the «Prose» nomination Vladimir Khokhlov (Moscow, novel «Zanevsky Prospekt») took the first place, Olga Shiltsova (St. story «Mom, I Ate an Elephant»)
In the category «Poetry» Stepan Samarin (Moscow, a collection of poems) took the first place, second place went to Sergei Skuratovsky (Nizhny Novgorod, a collection of poems «A Glass from Atlantis»), Varvara Zabortseva (Pinega village, Arkhangelsk region, collection «I really want to live»).
The awards were presented by Presidential Adviser Vladimir Tolstoy, President of the Russian Book Union Sergey Stepashin, Director of the Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea Pak Chung Gon, Director of the Department of State Support for Periodical Press and Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development and Mass Communications Vladimir Grigoriev, and also members of the jury and Supervisory Board of the «Lyceum» award.
Earlier it was reported that Zakhar Prilepin and Yevgeny Vodolazkin became finalists of the Big Book Prize.
