The daughter of a Crimean woman suspected of blowing up power lines in the Leningrad Region, Ekaterina Kishchak, who was not allowed to leave for Georgia and was placed under administrative arrest twice after that, was able to leave Russia. Lawyer Vitaly Cherkasov told about this.
“Kate Kishchak and her friend were given the opportunity to leave the country. They are not involved in anything, although they spent a month, as they claim, in solitary confinement. Yes, and accusations of double «petty hooliganism» they don’t recognize,” Cherkasov wrote.
A 20-year-old girl who was heading to Tbilisi with a friend was detained at a checkpoint in Upper Lars on May 4. For the next 15 days, she did not get in touch. Later, we managed to communicate with her, but Kishchak again stopped answering calls and messages. It turned out that she had been arrested twice within a month.
The last time on May 24, the Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg sent the girl to the detention center, finding her guilty of petty hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the security forces, on the afternoon of May 23, she behaved aggressively, cursed and resisted the police near the building at the address where the 76th police department of St. area on the night of May 1. Because of this, the FSB opened a case under articles on sabotage (Article 281 of the Criminal Code) and illegal trafficking in explosives (Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code), while Kischak was put on the wanted list. The FSB claims that «Ukrainian saboteurs» planned to blow up more than 30 power transmission towers at the Leningrad and Kalinin nuclear power plants.
