In a large brick house on Gerasimchuk Street in the city of Ussuriysk, where the Shilovs have been living for 30 years, now there is no end to the guests. The whole block comes to look at the curiosity — the recently completed gas as part of the federal aftergasification program.

“We are very happy because everything went very quickly. I don't smell gas from gas, like when using cylinders. It is immediately clear that the fuel is of better quality. I am under very good impression. We are among the pioneers in connecting gas among our neighbors. And everyone is asking how and what. They come, ask to tell, show great interest. Now I will put my brand new teapot on the blue light and prepare delicious tea for the guests, – tells Nina Nikolaevna Shilova.
“We will use the connected gas to its full potential. And hot water, and heating – most importantly, especially in winter. Previously, it was necessary to heat the boiler with coal, and at night they connected electric batteries. Gas has many advantages. It's warm, got up in the morning – there is hot water to wash, – affectionately holding his wife by the arm, adds the head of the family, Alexander Dmitrievich.
Shilova has been married for more than half a century – 57 years old, this year both turn 75. They raised three children, got five grandchildren. The hostess was born in this house, her parents lived in it all her life, then the mistress's brother, then she and her husband. Now both are on a well-deserved rest. By profession, Nina Nikolaevna is a seamstress, her husband worked as a driver at the motor depot No. 5 of Ussuriysk, has 20 years of accident-free experience. Both have been retired since 2000. Nina Nikolaevna devotes all her free time to her garden.
“I love a lot of flowers, and now I will have more time to take care of the garden. Consider, the water is hot, the machine is spinning, washing, washing dishes – pure pleasure. Everything for comfort! – says the hostess.

Before the arrival of blue fuel in the cold season, the house was heated with solid fuel (wood and coal), at night – electricity, during the winter they spent an average of about 4 thousand rubles. How much to pay for natural gas – they haven’t calculated yet, but they expect significant savings.
The Shilovs’ House was the first to carry out additional gasification in the Sloboda microdistrict; in Ussuriysk. Gasification of the residential area became possible due to the construction of 4 gas distribution pipelines with a total length of more than 85 km. These gas pipelines will allow connecting 2,631 households to gas supply. In the near future, another 20 subscribers are planned to be connected in the microdistrict.
The event was attended by General Director of Gazprom Gas Distribution Far East JSC Georgy Shperling, as well as Andrey Leontyev, Minister of Energy and Gas Supply of the Primorsky Territory.
In total, the company's specialists built more than 85 km of intra-settlement distribution networks to supplement the gas supply of the microdistrict, and it was possible to connect 2,631 households to gas supply.
In Ussuriysk, in addition to the microdistrict «Sloboda» the Raduzhny microdistrict has already been supplied with gas, as well as two settlements in the Spassky municipal district of Primorsky Krai – the villages of Slavinka and Red Kut.
It should be noted that an updated program for the development of gas supply and gasification of the Primorsky Territory for 2021-2025 was recently signed. Thus, the updated document includes the construction of inter-settlement gas pipelines and intra-settlement networks for gasification of settlements in Mikhailovsky, Shkotovsky and Nadezhdinsky districts, Artemovsky urban district, the cities of Spassk-Dalny, Fokino and Dalnerechensk, as well as the construction of five CNG filling stations with supply gas pipelines in the cities of Vladivostok, Ussuriysk and Artem, construction of a natural gas liquefaction complex at the Zapadnaya site; Advanced Development Territory (TOR) «Nadezhdinskaya», gas pipeline branch and gas distribution station (GDS) «Artem-2» and technical re-equipment of the valve unit of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline.
As a result of the implementation of the updated program, conditions will be created for gasification of 17.5 thousand households in 39 settlements of the region. It also provides for gasification of the seaport «Sukhodol», enterprises of the TOP «Mikhailovsky»; and «Nadezhdinskaya», Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant, CHPP-2 in Artyom, All-Russian Children's Center «Ocean» and the concert and sports complex «Fetisov-Arena».

In addition, seven gas pipeline branches from the gas distribution station will be built, technical re-equipment of one gas distribution station and one valve unit of the main gas pipeline will be carried out. This will increase the volume of gas supplies to existing consumers and connect new ones.
As part of the Gas Supply Development Program in Primorsky Krai in 2023-2024, it is planned to build new inter-settlement gas pipelines with a total length of more than 80 km and build distribution networks for gasification of about 39 settlements of Primorsky Krai. Including Abramovka, Pavlovka, Grigorievka, Novozhatkovo, Vozdvizhenka, Novonikolsk, Elite Stepnoye, Galenki, Timiryazevsky, Mikhailovka, Banevurovo, New, Pervomayskoye, Rodnikovoe, Dubki, Spassk-Dalny, Dubovskoye, Krasny Kut, Shtykovo, Shkotovo, Smolyaninovo, Mnogoudobnoe , Surazhevka, Artemovsky, Olenye, Artem, Krolevtsy, Zavodskoy, Knevichi, Clear, Novy, Cool, Shmidtovka, Winter South, Fokino, Danube, Wrangel, Nakhodka.
