MOSCOW, June 18 The Phoenix Assistive Technology Center will open at VDNKh in Moscow in 2023, according to the website of the mayor of the capital.
«In 2023, the Phoenix Center for Assistive Technologies will open at VDNKh. It will be the first platform in the country that will bring together developers and those who want to get acquainted with technologies for people with disabilities (HIA) — hearing, vision, mobility, cognitive abilities,» the report says.
According to Alexey Fursin, Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, today more than 120 startups are operating in Moscow, which in total produce over 350 innovative solutions to help people with health limitations. He noted that all of them can become residents of the center and join forces to develop the market and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as become more recognizable.
The new center includes several themed areas, including a showroom, exhibition and conference rooms, workshops, co-working areas and offices, as well as a track for sports events.
