"This is an indescribable feeling! During the whole project, I repeatedly imagined how it would be: visualized, attracted this victory. Without the support and faith of Assol (the musician's wife — Ed.) in me, I think that nothing could have happened. I will donate some of the money to charity. There are several funds that we support on an ongoing basis,» Stepanov is quoted in the press service.

The performer reached the final along with Maria Pogrebnyak and Natalia Bardo. He went through the labyrinth faster than anyone and assembled the steps for the ladder, along which he climbed to the heavenly pedestal.
Stepanov came to «New Stars in Africa» in the sixth series. He immediately proved to be a strong participant who successfully overcame difficult trials and earned coins for his team.

Project host Mikhail Galustyan supported the losers and stressed that the game should be taken lightly.
«Our show is first and foremost a game, and it should be taken lightly. For the participants, this is a new experience, and for the viewers, entertainment and interesting pastime at the screens,» the comedian noted.
«New Stars in Africa» is a reality show where stars are put to the test to earn coins for food. According to the rules of the project, one of the participants leaves it in each issue.
There were four seasons in total, hosted by Olga Buzova and Mikhail Galustyan.
