A young woman killed in Kyzyl was trained as an assistant Senator from the Republic of Tyva. This information was confirmed on June 20 by the representative of the legislative body of the Republic of Tyva in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Dina Oyun.
“The victim was Doluma Ondar, a talented graduate of TuvGU in 2023, who had just successfully defended her diploma. She started an internship in my apparatus of assistants,” she wrote on social networks.
Oyun expressed condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. She also noted that the perpetrator of the attack was suffering from a mental disorder and attacked the girl in front of the government building. Oyun turned to the prosecutor of the republic with a request to take control of the investigation of this crime.
According to the investigation, a 36-year-old man killed a 24-year-old girl in the center of Kyzyl. The suspect has been detained. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the man stabbed the girl several times, confusing her with someone else. The girl died at the scene from her injuries. A criminal case has been initiated under article 105 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”).
