MOSCOW, 22 Jun. The Fifth Russian TV series festival «Pilot» starts in Ivanovo, the press service of the show reports.
The event «The Librarian» opens with Nikita Efremov in the title role. The project is based on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Elizarov. In the center is an unsuccessful actor, drawn into a series of mystical events.
20 projects are presented in the competition. Among the contenders for the victory are «Cyberdad» with Alexander Robak and Yulia Peresild, a family film with Yuri Stoyanov «Mammoths», «Mastodon» with Fedor Dobronravov, «Reckless» with Ekaterina Varnava and Evgeny Tsyganov.
The winners will be chosen producer Sergei Titinkov, playwright Ilya Tilkin, actresses Daria Moroz and Anna Banshchikova. The jury was headed by the director, screenwriter and producer Sergei Ursulyak.
The Buffalo Hunt series will be shown at the closing of the festival on June 25th. Sergei Bezrukov played an investigator who is trying to find the killer of a fashion model.
Earlier it was reported that the director of «Vampires of the Middle Band» Anton Maslov will shoot a TV series based on «The Last Hero».
