Its long-distance voyage is proceeding according to the plan approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov,» the message says.
As specified in the ministry, the ship's voyage began on June 20 with the departure from Kronstadt. The training ship will make a transatlantic crossing and visit a number of Caribbean countries, as well as South America and Africa. It is planned to return to the main base in September.
